Delivery Policy


Production and Dispatch

All samples are produced to order. For standard deliveries, we aim to dispatch the working day following placement of orders. 

UK

Orders must be placed before 12:00 Midday to qualify for Express and Next Day services. Orders placed after 12:00 will be dispatched Next Working day.

Working days are from Monday to Friday and exclude Weekends and Bank Holidays.

Orders under £10.00

Standard delivery (£2.99) = Royal Mail Second Class

Express delivery (£4.99) = Royal Mail First Class

Next Working Day (Ex weekends) (£8.99) = Royal Mail Special Delivery

Orders from £10.00 to £19.99

Standard delivery (Free) = Royal Mail Second Class

Express delivery (£4.99) = Royal Mail First Class

Next Working Day (Ex weekends) (£8.99) = Royal Mail Special Delivery

Orders £20.00 - £99.99

Standard delivery (Free) = Royal Mail Second Class Recorded/Signed

Express delivery (£4.95) = Royal Mail First Class Recorded/Signed

Next Working Day (Ex weekends) (£8.99) = Royal Mail Special Delivery

Orders more than £100 

Express delivery (Free) = Royal Mail First Class Recorded/Signed 

Next Working Day (Ex weekends) (£3.99) = Royal Mail Special Delivery

With Recorded delivery a tracking number for each order will be sent by email or SMS. Items can be tracked at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item.  Fragrance Samples UK LTD's stated delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed (except Next Day Guaranteed service). Fragrance Samples UK LTD is not responsible for and cannot affect the delivery times once the order has left our premises, however if delivery is not made within the stated timescales for paid delivery services, the delivery charge may be refunded. If you are not in at the time of delivery the postman/courier will generally leave a note to say that the parcel has been taken back to the depot where you may pick it up/request a re-delivery. Once Royal Mail have attempted to deliver, it is It is the customer's responsibility to make collection or re-delivery arrangements with Royal Mail. 

Goods Lost in transit UK

Any items not delivered, must be reported to us within 7 days of your order being dispatched and we will try and locate it. Fragrance Samples UK LTD, will not accept claims for non-delivery of items sent by Standard Post, if we are not informed of non-delivery within 7 days of dispatch of your order. When informed about non-delivery, We are required by Royal Mail, to wait a total of 21 working days before a claim can be made for a lost item, and therefore we do not consider items lost until 21 Working days have passed. At this point a claim will be raised and a replacement item sent (stock permitting). Where items are out of stock a refund will be made. 

In the event of an order lost in transit the customer is required to cooperate with Fragrance Samples UK LTD and Royal Mail in dealing with the claim. Failure to cooperate may invalidate the claim for a lost order.

Fragrance Samples UK LTD cannot accept responsibility for delayed or lost orders due incorrect delivery addresses being provided. Customers Order Confirmation SMS/Email will state the delivery address given with the order. This is the customer's opportunity to inform us of any errors. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all delivery details supplied are correct to ensure no issues occur with delivery.

Goods Lost in transit Europe

All European Shipments are managed by DPD and are Tracked. Delivery times stated are estimates, Fragrance Samples UK will not refund or resend items due to late delivery. 

Any items not delivered, must be reported to us within 7 days of the estimated date of delivery (given at checkout and on order confirmation) and we will try and locate your goods.. Fragrance Samples UK LTD, will not accept claims for non-delivery of items if we are not informed of non-delivery within 7 days of the estimated delivery date, because DPD will only accept claims for lost items for a period of 14 days after dispatch. In the event of an item being lost and reported as above, a claim will be raised and a replacement item sent (stock permitting). Where items are out of stock a refund will be made.
