Next Working Day Service
Available for orders placed before Midday Mon - Fri (£9.95)
For Next Working Day delivery, orders must be placed before 12:00 Midday Orders placed after 12:00 Midday will be dispatched Next Working day. Working days are from Monday to Friday and exclude Weekends and Bank Holidays, i.e orders placed after Midday on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday. Orders placed after Midday Friday where the following Monday is a Bank Holiday,will not be dispatched until following Tuesday.
With 'Signed' and 'Next Working Day' delivery, a tracking number for each order will be sent by email (assuming one is provided at checkout). Orders can be tracked at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item. 1st Class Signed Tracking only shows Dispatch and Delivery, with no updates in between. Next Day Delivery Tracking gives staged updates. Fragrance Samples UK LTD is not responsible for and cannot affect the delivery times once the order has left our premises, however if delivery is not made within the stated timescales for Next Day delivery service, the delivery charge will be refunded, unless the reason for late delivery is an act of nature, such as adverse weather conditions. Please note that the current procedure for signing for orders, is that the Royal Mail delivery person will hand the package to the recipient and then sign the device themselves. Customers are no longer asked to sign devices and hence why the signature on Proof Of Delivery will not be that of the customer. If you are not in at the time of delivery the postman/courier will generally leave a note to say that the parcel has been taken back to the depot where you may pick it up/request a re-delivery. Alternatively the package may be left with a neighbour and again a note should be left at the customer's address. Once Royal Mail have attempted to deliver, it is It is the customer's responsibility to make collection or re-delivery arrangements with Royal Mail.
Pandemic and Post Pandemic Policy
Since the beginning of COVID-19, Royal Mail no longer request the signature of the recipient, and instead sign the device themselves. Royal Mail's policy states that this signature is proof of delivery, this is also the policy of Fragrance Samples UK. This signature varies, but is usually ‘CV19’ or ‘X19’. Fragrance Samples UK will not accept any claim for loss when Royal Mail have signed for the delivery and thus confirmed the package as 'Delivered'. This is is a condition of us accepting your order. If you do not agree to this policy, please contact us prior to dispatch and we will cancel and refund your order.
Student Accomodation Deliveries
Please note that many deliveries to Student Accomodation are received by neighbours or a concierge and signed (in line with COVID-19 Policy) by the Royal Mail delivery person. If the package is Signed as 'Delivered', Fragrance Samples UK will not accept any claims if the package was not delivered to the intended recipient. This is is a condition of us accepting your order. If you do not agree to this policy, please contact us prior to dispatch and we will cancel and refund your order.
Delivery Times & Goods Lost in transit
Royal Mail are operating slower than usual during Pandemic times. 1st Class is no longer necessarily 1-3 days and Fragrance Samples UK Cannot affect Royal Mail delivery times. Any items not delivered, must be reported Fragrance Samples UK within 10 Working/Postal days after dispatch. Fragrance Samples UK LTD, will not accept claims for non-delivery of items sent by Standard 1st Class Post, if we are not informed of non-delivery within 10 Working days of dispatch of your order. When informed about non-delivery, We are required by Royal Mail, to wait a total of 21 working days before a claim can be made for a lost item, and therefore we do not consider items lost until 21 Working days have passed. At this point a claim will be raised and a replacement item sent (stock permitting). Where items are out of stock a refund will be made.
In the event of an order lost in transit the customer is required to cooperate with Fragrance Samples UK LTD and Royal Mail in dealing with the claim. Failure to cooperate may invalidate the claim for a lost order.
Fragrance Samples UK LTD cannot accept responsibility for delayed or lost orders due incorrect delivery addresses being provided. Customers Order Confirmation email will state the delivery address given with the order. This is the customer's opportunity to inform us of any errors. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all delivery details supplied are correct to ensure no issues occur with delivery. If email contact details are not provided and we are unable to confirm the details given by the customer, again Fragrance Samples UK cannot accept responsibility in the event of delayed or lost orders due incorrect delivery addresses being provided.
