On the 8th of March 1764, Carl Andrea Pozzo di Borgo was born.
This intelligent and multi-talented man has inspired a contemporary perfume with warm and powerful chords, a true homage to the great classics of masculine fragrances

THIS POWERFUL AND RACY PERFUME EVOKES THE JOURNEY OF CARL-ANDREA POZZO DI BORGO, FROM THE CORSICAN 'MAQUIS' TO THE COURT OF CZAR ALEXANDER THE 1ST. THE NOTES OF FRESH AND SPICED CITRUS COME TOGETHER WITH THE WARM AND ROUND UNDERTONES OF RUSSIAN LEATHER. WE IMAGINED THIS FRAGRANCE LIKE A CONTEMPORARY READING OF THE PAST, USING RICH AND ANCIENT INGREDIENTS STRUCTURED IN A MORE MODERN WAY."

CITRON

Ancestor of the lemon, citron is characterized by its thick skin, its less-than-juicy pulp, and the odor characteristic of its zest, reminiscent of that of cedar. Cultivated all around Corsica at the end of the 19th century, citron is used in perfumery in the form of an essence, very green, which is close to that of grapefruit.

CISTUS LABDANUM

Small shrub of the Mediterranean, cistus is one of the characteristic varieties of Corsican "maquis". Certain varieties produce an aromatic resin used in perfumery: labdanum. Its warm and woody note, almost resinous, has an amber aspect that is slightly animalistic.

ESSENCE OF COGNAC

Typically masculine, cognac is used for its warm notes, round and amber, which do not go without evoking the smoothness of caramel.

ESSENCE OF COFFEE

Associated with cognac, coffee brings a touch that is both tasteful and very sophisticated.
