Please note that delivery time estimates (except Next Working Day Delivery) are not guaranteed and we will not offer delivery fee refunds for orders not delivered within these estimated timescales. Guaranteed timeframe services are very expensive and we are not charging for or using them. We cannot control Royal Mail delivery times and items sent using these services are not considered lost until 7 working days (following the day of dispatch) have passed.
For Next Working Day delivery, orders must be placed before 12:00 Midday Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 12:00 Midday will be dispatched Next Working day. Working days are from Monday to Friday and exclude Weekends and Bank Holidays, i.e orders placed after Midday on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday and delivered on Tuesday. Orders placed after Midday Friday where the following Monday is a Bank Holiday will not be dispatched until the following Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday. Saturday is not a working day and therefore orders placed after Midday on Thursday using this service, will be dispatched on Friday and are likely to arrive on Saturday, but not guaranteed to arrive until Monday.
With Tracked 24/48 and 'Next Working Day' delivery, a tracking number for each order will be sent by email (assuming one is provided at checkout). Orders can be tracked at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item. Fragrance Samples UK LTD is not responsible for and cannot affect the delivery times once the order has left our premises, however if delivery is not made within the stated timescales for Next Day delivery service, the delivery charge will be refunded, unless the reason for late delivery is an act of nature, such as adverse weather conditions, or Industrial/Strike action by the delivery company. These service are fuly tracked, but do not require a signature. The package being scanned by Royal Mail at the correct address is considered proof of delivery and any package scanned at the correct address is considered 'Delivered' by Fragrance Samples UK and we will not accept any claims for non-delivery.
If you are not in at the time of delivery the postman/courier will generally leave a note to say that the parcel has been taken back to the depot where you may pick it up/request a re-delivery. Alternatively the package may be left with a neighbour, and again a note should, (but will not always) be left at the customer's address. If a Neighbour accepts delivery on the intended recipients behalf, the order is considered 'delivered'. This is a condition of us accepting your order. If you do not agree to this policy, please contact us prior to dispatch and we will cancel and refund your order. Once Royal Mail have attempted to deliver, it is the customer's responsibility to collect from the neighbour or make collection or re-delivery arrangements with Royal Mail.
Student accommodation, shared accommodation or business address deliveries.
Please note that many deliveries to Student or Shared accommodation are received by neighbours or a concierge and signed (in line with Royal Mail Policy) by the Royal Mail delivery person. At business addresses a colleague may accept delivery on the intended recipient's behalf. In all cases, If the package is Signed as 'Delivered', by Royal Mail, Fragrance Samples UK will not accept any claims if the package was not delivered to the intended recipient. This is a condition of us accepting your order. If you do not agree to this policy, please contact us prior to dispatch and we will cancel and refund your order.
Delivery times & goods lost in transit
Delivery will usually be within the wstimated timescales shown at checkout, but with the exception of Next Working Day Delivery, these are not a guaranteed timescale services and Fragrance Samples UK Cannot affect Royal Mail delivery times. Any items not delivered, must be reported Fragrance Samples UK within 10 Working/Postal days after dispatch. Fragrance Samples UK LTD, will not accept claims for non-delivery, if we are not informed of non-delivery within 10 Working days of dispatch of your order. When informed about non-delivery, We are required by Royal Mail, to wait a total of 7 working days before a claim can be made for a lost item, and therefore we do not consider items lost until 7 Working days have passed. At this point a claim will be raised and a replacement item sent (stock permitting). Where items are out of stock a refund will be made.
In the event of an order lost in transit the customer is required to cooperate with Fragrance Samples UK LTD and Royal Mail in dealing with the claim. Failure to cooperate may invalidate the claim for a lost order.
Fragrance Samples UK LTD cannot accept responsibility for delayed or lost orders due incorrect delivery addresses being provided. Customers Order Confirmation email will state the delivery address given with the order. This is the customer's opportunity to inform us of any errors. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all delivery details supplied are correct to ensure no issues occur with delivery. If email contact details are not provided and we are unable to confirm the details given by the customer, again Fragrance Samples UK cannot accept responsibility in the event of delayed or lost orders due incorrect delivery addresses being provided.
